The new extruder is complete and here are some shots of the first build. A few settings need to be tweaked for quality, but I'm very excited as this is the FIRST time I've actually extruded an object and I've been working on this off and on for over two years.

In the above photo you can see a few issues when changing layers. I need to modify some skeinforge settings and hopefully that will alleviate this.  Another issue is my nozzle is 0.5 mm instead of 0.3mm, creating a lower resolution build. On the other hand it is really fast, this only took about 15 minutes start to finish.

  Looks good. Next step is to make your own model --> g code script. Trash that one. Python is awesome but that guy's stuff isn't cutting it. Or slicing it rather!
